… The Archaic Smile… (lifted)… Am I inluv??? :-)

The paradox of our time is that we have taller buildings but shorter
tempers, wider freeways but narrower viewpoints.  We spend more but have less; we buy more but enjoy less.  We have more degrees but less sense; more knowledge but less judgment, more experts yet more problems, more medicine but less wellness.

"Remember, spend more time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever."

"Remember: say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person will grow up and leave your side."

"Remember to give a warm hug to the one next to you, beacuse that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn’t cost a cent."

"Remember to say I love you to your partner and your loved ones but most of all mean it.  A kiss and embrace will mend a heart when it comes from deep inside of you."

"Remember to hold hands and cherish the moments, for
someday that person will not be there again.  Give time to love, give time to speak and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind."

No matter where we are, no matter how far apart, love will find a way coz love works in mysterious ways!

We all want to be loved and accepted. We all want to love and be needed.  When romantic love has come to an end, we lost.

The love we give away is the only love we keep.  The only way to retain love is to give it away.

When we are afraid to give ourselves in love, we fail to build the foundation on which love rests - trust.

The road may wind and the heart may roam but true love will find you again and lead your heart on gently back home.

Live life with the absence of expectations and returns.  Have that heart filled with humility, kindness and compassion.

God did not love us because we are lovable; we became lovable because God poured His love to us.  That’s why the more we love the person truthfully, the higher we ascend to the discovery of our own happiness.  As long as we try to change the archaic smile, no matter how difficult it is, we can establish the mark and identity of our own lives in this mortal world.  Words and papers may fade but a good heart will always remain in the memories of the entire humanity.  After all, love is the only thing we can carry with us when we go.  It makes the end so easy, when you look back and say you’ve loved completely and life is what you make it.

"LIFE IS NOT MEASURED BY THE NUMBER OF BREATHS WE TAKE BUT BY THE MOMENTS THAT TAKE OUR BREATH AWAY."

TWELVE WAYS TO KEEP SMILING!!!

August 21st, 2006 by analynmg

Hello… I just want to share this article written by Douglas Pagels…. This is from a certain book… (Sorry I can’t remember its title…)

TWELVE WAYS TO KEEP SMILING!!!

1. Hold on to your dreams, and never let them go…

2. Show the rest of the world how wonderful you are…

3. Give circumstances a chance, and give others the benefit of the doubt…

4. Wish on a star that shines in your sky…

5. Take on to your problems one by one and work things out…

6. Rely on all the strength you have inside…

7. Let loose of the sparkle and spirit that you sometimes try to hid…

8. Stay in touch with those who touch your life with love…

9. Look on the bright side and don’t let adversity keep you from winning…

10. Be yourself, because you are filled with special qualities that have brought you this far, and that will always see you through…

11. Keep your spirits up…

12. Make your heart happy, and let it reflect on everything you do!!!

Try it folks… and you will see… It’s really effective… :-) Smile!!!

IS IT NATURE’S REVENGE??? OR IT IS… US???

August 13th, 2006 by analynmg

Grabe… This past few days, we are experiencing ulan, baha, bagyo… then there’s Mayon volcano which is affecting not only Albay but also the neighboring provinces, landslide, big water waves (can we call it small tsunami??) which hit the area in Negros Oriental, earthquake… what else???

With these, many people died, many suffered, many became orphan, many were left homeless…

It is so painful to look at them suffering the pain physically and emotionally, to hear them cry and ask if WHY it happened…

Is it nature’s revenge to us because most of us did not really take good care of her??? Are we going to wait the time for our turn to feel such agony???

Why should we, if we can do our share now??? Kumbaga "hindi pa huli and lahat"… But how???

How can people take care the nature if they themselves are killing each other (Lebanon-Israel war, NPA-Militar war, Terrorism) and cheating each other (CORRUPTION, crimes - stealing, car/kidnapping, rubbery)… These are just product of greediness… Greed for POWER and MONEY… for POSITION…

Let us try to look in a child’s eye… what have you noticed??? INNOCENCE, right? Why can’t we be like a child, innocent but knows better… weak but full of energy… dirty from playing but the heart is pure and clean…

Let us hold hands… for good… for the better… for the best…. for you… for me…. and for the whole world…

LIFE…. BORING IF YOU WILL NOT ENJOY IT…

August 12th, 2006 by analynmg

SunsetLife is the best gift I received from HIM… but sometimes I am asking, am I worth with what I am now??? Am I giving justice to this gift? Am I using it according to HIS will? Maybe life is really too short as what they say and we should enjoy every moment of it. If you will notice every bit of seconds in our life just fell to memories… Memories that we may cherish or we may tend to forget… Memories that we want to keep or memories that we hate…

But how do we enjoy life? How de we make it as memorable as it can be??? For me… Hmmnnn…. As long as we are happy… As long as we are contented… As long as we are not hurting someone… As long as we help others in need the way we can…. As long as our life is offered to HIM…. then I can say life is not boring…. Every bit of it is enjoyed to the fullest….
